The team
Aakriti Bharati
Founder
Aakriti Bharati is a Development Studies graduate and the founder of paryaa.np. Her focus lies at the intersection of climate finance, international negotiations, and Nepal’s development challenges within that framework. She is currently exploring how global climate commitments translate into financing realities for vulnerable countries like Nepal.

Palpasha Suwal
Research Lead
Palpasha is interested in working at the intersection of climate, economics, and gender. She began her career in climate education, coordinating a course on understanding sustainability that reached more than 1,300 participants. She then moved forward to research and MEAL, leading studies on livelihoods and governance with gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI) as a cross-cutting theme. Alongside this work, she conducts independent research on climate finance and governance. She is also a freelance artist, and she is now exploring how visual art can help her share stories alongside the data.
